ALL SHAPES AND SIZES
|
|
| |
 |
 |
Does size matter in
a Sales Meeting?
That depends on what you mean by “size.”
Is it the meeting-room dimensions or the number of attendees?
Or is it the staging and production requirements for creating the greatest
impact?
When it comes to making big impressions, even the smallest meeting can happen
on a grand scale. That’s why NOVASPHERE knows how to work with clients
to create, produce, and stage Sales Meetings that fit their budgetary expectations,
while helping attendees become better educated, and more motivated to put their
best sales foot forward.
So...what kind of shape is your Sales Meeting in?

ANSWERING THE CHALLENGE
|
|
| |
 |
 |
|
If
a company wants to remain the industry leader, it needs to
keep predicting, acknowledging, and ANSWERING the challenges
of the marketplace.
This multi-divisional client was enjoying a year of strong performance and growth.
To maintain momentum, they needed their thousands of store managers and sales
representatives to stay focused on executing at every level.
NOVASPHERE rose to the
challenge in full force with a Corporate Opening Session that was
packed with content, yet highly dynamic in delivery.
The company’s growth through expansion and acquisition called for a new,
larger venue for this year’s National Sales Meeting. The fact that the
Session was also staged for the first time in the evening called for shifting
paradigms about the style of opening statement that would best fit our “Answering
the Challenge” meeting theme.

But
with an audience of 6,500, we knew it needed the scope to make
one heck of an impression!
Since color is an important concept for this organization, we created the perfect
opening salvo with a live, INDOOR LASER SHOW synchronized to a pounding music
track and integrated with a kaleidoscopic, animated color module.

The call to action for this corporate-wide General Session was to “Pump
Up the Volume” by maximizing the successful selling strategies
already in place. Executed in a huge municipal sports arena, we challenged
the 6000-member audience to “defy gravity” by launching
the meeting with a dazzling dance troupe performance that included
gravity boots and bungee leaps from the arena’s 100-ft. domed
ceiling. Staging elements also included powerful theme graphics,
exciting speaker support, and message-driven modules--including a
video to welcome hundreds of acquisition-based associates into the
system. The session’s “staging stars” also included
a screen larger than most drive-in movie screens. Additional vendor
and management meetings staged in different venues across town provided
overall cohesion of the multi-faceted event.
“
We’ve received nothing but compliments throughout our organization…you
are truly outstanding in your chosen profession and I can’t
tell you how valuable it is to have great confidence in you that
all will go smoothly!”

Integral to this Division’s General Session was the opportunity to celebrate
an important milestone: One Billion Dollars in sales. NOVASPHERE met the challenge
by delighting the 1300 attendees with a dazzling “billion-dollar” fire
curtain and pyrotechnics display. Since the call to keep selling never stops,
our mountain-climber guest speaker reinforced the importance of keeping up the
pace and avoiding complacency. Since continual new product introductions are
vital to this organization’s sales strategy, we also ran the “New
Products Challenge”--a hectic, but wildly popular competition in which
teams performed their own videos, live skits, and songs to reinforce new product
features and benefits. The “Grow Green” Reverse Raffle evening was
another hit in a schedule filled with multiple activities and performance awards
presentations.
"NOVASPHERE has become
'family' and that family knows our needs and goals inside and out.
Year after
year, the same talented
team
works with us one on one to put together a top-notch product. Because
we have the consistency of staying with what has always been a superb
team, we waste no time trying to get a different one up to speed."

With slow sales and previous lack of leadership, this Division was in serious
need of a national Sales Meeting that would jump-start the morale of attendees
who spanned all aspects of the organization. The new Division president wanted
to reassure associates that a higher level of management professionalism and
commitment was now in place. And, because he was also a previous NOVASPHERE client,
he knew just where to turn to.
Although the lead time was short, we jumped in to build this meeting from the
ground up. We provided everything from agenda/content development and speech
coaching, to booking the reception’s live band. The set was simple yet
effective, enhanced by subtle lighting washes. We also created a thematic opening
module and memorable speaker support to help reinforce the meeting’s call
to action. From general session, to breakout sessions and awards banquet, the
end result was an event that rewarded its attendees by showing them they were
valued; thus, making them more receptive to meeting the challenges of the work
that lay ahead.
"It is truly a pleasure to work with the staff
at NOVASPHERE. Planning a National Sales Meeting is no small task. You have to
feel confident that you
can count on your Production Company to come through. Well, as we began working
with Elaine, Vic, and Mike, it didn't take long to figure out that 'these guys
are good.' This year's Sales Meeting was a huge success, and we credit the knowledge
and expertise of NOVASPHERE for our success."
